Sound Sultan was a Nigerian singer, rapper, songwriter, actor, comedian, and recording artist who was born as Olanrewaju Abdul-Ganiu Fasasi on November 27, 1976, in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. He was one of the pioneers of the Nigerian music industry, and his career spanned over two decades.
Sound Sultan began his music career in the 1990s, and he released his debut album "Jagbajantis" in 2000. The album was a huge success and spawned hit singles such as "Jagbajantis," "Motherland," and "Mathematics." He went on to release six more albums, including "Textbook," "Naija 007," and "Back From the Future."
Sound Sultan's music was known for its socially conscious themes, and he often used his platform to address social and political issues in Nigeria. He was a strong advocate for peace, unity, and social justice, and his music reflected these values.
