Niyola, whose real name is Eniola Akinbo, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress. She was born on December 9, 1985, in Lagos, Nigeria.
Niyola started her music career as a member of the all-female group, "G-Wilz," before going solo. She gained recognition with her debut single, "Me n U (In Da Club)," which was released in 2005. Since then, she has released several other singles and albums, including "Niyola...The Album" (2008), "The Word" (2013), and "Self-Title" (2021).
Niyola's music style is a fusion of soul, R&B, and Afro-pop. She is known for her soulful voice and lyrics that often touch on themes such as love, heartbreak, and self-empowerment.
In addition to her music career, Niyola is also an actress and has appeared in several Nollywood movies, including "The Antique" (2014) and "The Arbitration" (2016).
