Ahmed Ololade known professionally as Asake, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter of Yorùbá heritage who specialises in Afrobeats. Who got signed to YBNL Nation and Empire Distribution. His stage name pays homage to his mother, whose first name is Asake.

Asake studied Theatre & Performing Arts at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun state. Although, he had been releasing music since 2018, his musical career progressed further in 2020 when he released the single "Mr. Money". A remix with Zlatan and Peruzzi followed. He broke out in the industry when he dropped the 2020 single, Lady. He rose to stardom after being signed to YBNL Records by the label boss, Olamide on February 2022.
